Beech has a close grain, which gives it a fine and even texture. Color variation between boards is moderate to wide. Beech shows minimal color variation when exposed to intense light. To keep it looking beautiful, Mirage applys a UV protector at the finishing stage. The sapwood of beech is white with a reddish cast, while the heartwood ranges from pale to dark reddish brown.
