Local Delivery Policy

All deliveries are curbside unless otherwise specified; for safety and liability reasons our drivers are unable to enter your home. Please have a minimum of 1 or 2 people available at the job site to help offload and carry the product from the truck into your home. The individual cartons usually weigh about 35 lbs, but some can weigh up to 75 lbs each. Most of our deliveries are done with a lift gate, if the garage is accessible the driver can offload the material in your garage with no additional fees. Inside deliveries or deliveries that require additional work will be charged an additional fee which will be determined by the driver. Corona Hardwood Inc. and its employees are not liable for any personal damage to customer’s property at the time of loading or unloading.

PLEASE NOTE: At the time you receive your order, you MUST check for damages and/or missing items and note that accordingly on the invoice. You are not required to open every carton and inspect each piece of flooring. However, we do ask that you count the number of items/cartons received and verify the item # and color prior to signing. It is a good idea to have a copy of your sales order with you, so you can verify you received all the items ordered. If you do not check the materials yourself, please make certain that the person signing for them checks for damaged or missing items. If no damages or missing items are noted on the invoice, Corona Hardwood cannot be held responsible for any damages or shortages that occur.

There is no delivery on weekends and holidays.

Freight Shipment Policy

Most of our orders are shipped within 1 to 3 business days after your payment is received, with the estimated transit time ranging from 1 to 10 business days. We ship LTL orders (skids) with the most reputable national carriers such as Fed-ex Freight, Daylight Transport, UPS Freight, R&L, SAIA and others. Smaller orders may ship with UPS Ground, Fed-ex Ground or the Postal Service.

Corona Hardwood Inc. makes no guarantee of delivery time, warranty or representation outside of the freight forwarder/shipping company warranty. All delivery dates are estimated; we cannot guarantee that there will not be delays beyond our control. Do not schedule an installation before your order arrives. Shipping of orders containing 15 boxes and more will be scheduled with a lift gate service. Please have a minimum of 1 or 2 people available at the job site to help offload and carry the product from the truck into your home. You need to consider accessibility to your street or driveway when choosing the residential delivery option, as orders are typically shipped via full-size semitrucks. In the event that the delivery truck cannot get to your home, your order will need to be transferred to a smaller truck, if one is available (additional fees may apply, these will be paid directly to the carrier). If a smaller truck is not available, you will be asked to pick up the items at the trucking terminal. Residential delivery fees that have been paid cannot be refunded if this occurs.

If no damages are noted on the bill of lading, Corona Hardwood Inc. cannot be held responsible for any damages or shortages that occur. In the very rare event, if damages do occur during the shipment, please do not refuse the product. Simply note the damages on the bill of lading and be sure to keep a copy for your records. You may also want to take photographs and contact Corona Hardwood Inc. right away. A claim will be filed on your behalf for significant damages or loss. Keep in mind that the freight forwarder has up to 120 days to investigate all claims.

We do not schedule pickups for shipments on weekends and holidays.
